Yes! Just like real animals, the Pomme pidou pets don’t enjoy too much sunlight. So instead of having a sunburn like we do, the colour of your Pomme pidou animal fades and gets lighter if he/she stands in the sun for too long.
No, as a matter of fact, the Pomme pidou animals hate water! If you let your animal drown in water, the print might come off or fade. There are two exceptions. First of all the Bloomies: they can handle a bit of water because we’ve applied a water decal technique. So don’t let your flowers or herbs dry out! Also the Aniwalls can support some water as they are rustproof. However, you shouldn’t leave them outside in stormy weather, you wouldn’t do that to an actual animal neither, would you?

The creation products always starts with sketches of new products and the creation of new prints. Once we’ve selected the novelties, we can go over to the action production process starting with the moule in which we pour the ceramic. Then they enjoy a warm oven and they’re decorated with our prints one by one and by hand! Afterwards, all eyes, mouths, golden details, etc. are painted on the animals. All piggy banks, Bloomies and items from the Funny collection are made out of ceramic, while the Aniwalls are made out of resin. So watch out, all items are fragile and should be handled with care.
No, your Pomme pidou pet isn’t ill! Each item is unique and the blurred parts are completely normal! Because of the colouring technique that Pomme pidou applies, all items are handmade. One by one, the animals are covered with their lovely print by hand and that makes that the print might be slightly moved to the left, or to the right, or maybe a bit higher or lower. The blurred parts are also shown on the product pages so that you are aware of this feature. The perk of this technique? Each and every one of you Pomme pidou owners have an original and unique item!
For the Pomme pidou pets from the Bloomie- and Aniwall-collection we apply the colouring technique in a different way. They’re immersed in the print two times, once from the right side and once from the left, which results in a line in the middle. This also explains why some parts of the Aniwall-prints are less visible. But don’t panic! Your Aniwall is supposed to be on the wall so you won’t notice any of it!
